Since the introduction of the Health and Social Care Act (2012) primary healthcare services have faced unprecedented change. Finding efficiencies and delivering service improvements in these challenging times is daunting, however solutions can be found to many of these challenges with access to external expertise, which can prove to be invaluable.
The Colin Tate Consultancy was setup in response to the findings of his doctoral research which identified that a high number of GP partners lacked both desire and ability in business management.
Consultancy services can be tailored to your specific needs, giving support where you need it most. By drawing on a team of independant consultants a wide range of specialties can be covered.
While trying to understand the many pitfalls of primary healthcare changes, we recieved great support in relation to QOF, Enhanced Services and core contract changes.

Ongoing success of any business relies heavily on effective organisational development, especially during times of demand and austerity. By first focusing on capacity and capability your organisation stands to be best placed to deliver.
Understanding corporate accountabilty is critical in terms of managing risk, which as part of organisational governance leads to credibility. This should be underpinned through targeted mission, vision and values with clear aims and objectives. The formulation of strategy must include best practice, transparency, inclusivity, a listening culture, and strong commuinications.
Great help and support; eye opening and thought provoking; just what we needed. A fresh perspective on things has helped us understand and deliver when we felt there was no real solution.
